Plugin Description
The Cryptoticker plugin us a modification of urosevic.net’s Stock Ticker plugin. The ticker allows you to insert a cryptocurrency price ticker anywhere on your website with the macro ‘[stock ticker]’.
The ticker pulls data from coinmarketcap.com, and will update via a cron job every 5 minutes.
Ticker formatting is available from the settings page. Options include:
– Custom Names for different currencies (i.e. Ethereum vs. ETH)
– Ticker order – enter a list of symbols in order (ETH, BTC, NEO)
– Set color coding for change status (i.e. negative change – red, positive – green, neutral – grey)
– Ticker Formatting – macros can be used to set the format for the ticker display (i.e. “%icon% %company% (%symbol%) %price% %changep%” will display as Ethereum (ETH) $396.23 0.70% )
– Custom Ticker Style CSS
