This very light plugin adds the Google Analytics code to your website, and that’s it. If you, like me, are tired of all those Google Analytics related plugins trying to do too much, like forcing you to subscribe to a 3rd party service, cluttering your WordPress admin and slowing your website down, Meow Analytics will feel like a very welcomed sunshine in winter 🙂
This plugin is very new (it was released on February 19th 2020), so please let me know your feedback, issues, and I will make it better. I will be very careful with the options I add, as I really want to keep it light. But there is certainly a few options that you need and that I didn’t include yet. I am here to help.
You can access to some of your analytics data directly in your WordPress dashboard (realtime and historical data). If you wish to do this, follow this tutorial. No worries: of course, it doesn’t use a 3rd-party service. I will never ever do that.
Have you used another analytics plugin before? Or maybe another type of plugin which asks you for the authorization to access some of your resources at Google? Please check your Google Permissions. You might want to remove the access you granted to those 3rd-party services.
Visit the Settings under Meow Apps > Analytics, enter your Google Analytics code, and that’s it. For more, please check the official page of the plugin: Meow Analytics.
