Plugin Description
SeoVia is the WordPress client for the SeoVia service (https://seovia.ai) — an AI-powered SEO platform. From your WordPress admin you can:
- Analyze posts, pages and WooCommerce products and get concrete, prioritized SEO suggestions.
- Apply optimized meta tags (title, description, Open Graph, Twitter cards, canonical, robots).
- Apply schema / structured data (JSON-LD) such as Article, BlogPosting, Product, FAQ, Breadcrumbs and more.
- Get internal link suggestions based on semantic similarity between your content.
- Connect Google Search Console to review performance data.
- Draft new content with the AI Post Creator and the SeoVia Agent.
The plugin renders the applied meta tags and JSON-LD on the public front end, and integrates with Yoast SEO and Rank Math when one of them is active (SeoVia’s values take precedence for the items you applied).
Account required (Software as a Service)
SeoVia is serviceware: all of this plugin’s code is open and included, but the AI analysis and generation run on the external SeoVia service, which requires a SeoVia account. Some service features are paid. The plugin itself is fully functional as a client and does not lock any of its own code behind payment.
External services
This plugin connects to the SeoVia service to provide its functionality. You must create an account and connect it before the plugin can do anything.
What it connects to: the SeoVia API at https://seovia.ai/api (configurable in SeoVia Settings) and the SeoVia web portal at https://seovia.ai/app.
What data is sent, and when:
- When you analyze or create content, or when a post/page/product is created or updated, the plugin sends that item’s content and metadata (title, body, excerpt, URL, featured image, and the item’s ID) to the SeoVia API for analysis. This is triggered by your actions in the SeoVia screens and by saving posts after you have connected an account.
- Your SeoVia API key is sent with each request to authenticate you.
- The SeoVia service writes results back to your site (e.g. applied meta tags and schema) through a secure, signed request that this plugin verifies with a public key; it never receives or stores your WordPress password.
- If you connect Google Search Console, search-performance data is exchanged through the SeoVia service.
No data is sent until you connect a SeoVia account, and connecting requires your explicit consent in the onboarding screen.

Development / Source Code
The admin interface is a single-page app written in React + TypeScript and
compiled with Vite. The files shipped under assets/
are the minified production build.
The complete, human-readable source (the frontend/ tree: src/,
package.json, vite.config.ts, tsconfig.json) together with build
instructions is available at:

To reproduce the shipped build from that source:
cd frontend && npm install && npm run build
This regenerates the files in plugin/seovia/assets/ (the JS/CSS bundles and
assets/.vite/manifest.json). No build step downloads or executes remote code.
