The plugin does not send telemetry to Brightery. The optional IndexNow module is disabled by default and contacts the IndexNow service only after an administrator enables it.
Important
Search Toolkit does not guarantee rankings, rich results, inclusion in search engines, or inclusion/citation in AI systems. GEO/AEO checks are editorial heuristics, not a ranking score. llms.txt is an emerging convention and support varies by crawler/provider.
Structured data must reflect the visible, accurate content and policies of the site. Only configure Local SEO, shipping and return-policy fields when the information is true and applicable.
External services
IndexNow
IndexNow is an optional external service used to notify participating search engines when public URLs are added, updated, unpublished, or deleted.
The module is disabled by default. If an administrator explicitly enables it, Search Toolkit sends public URL data to the IndexNow global endpoint at https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow. The payload includes the site’s host name, IndexNow verification key, verification key location, and the public URLs being submitted.

Privacy information: the IndexNow Terms page includes a Privacy section.
Privacy
Brightery Search Optimization Toolkit does not send telemetry to Brightery. The local 404 monitor stores only URL paths, hit counts, and last-seen timestamps. Autopilot and Fix Center action history stores only the local content IDs and values required to provide an Undo feature. The administrator-triggered Site Crawler requests only public URLs on the site’s own host and stores crawl metadata and a link graph in the local WordPress database. External links are inventoried but are not fetched automatically. When the optional IndexNow module is enabled, the public URL information described in the External services section is sent to IndexNow.
The plugin also adds suggested privacy-policy language to WordPress’s built-in Privacy Policy Guide.
