External Services
Cima Digital Conversion Q&A can connect to third-party services only when the corresponding feature is enabled or explicitly tested by a site administrator.
Cloudflare Turnstile
When Cloudflare Turnstile is selected as the anti-bot provider, the visitor’s browser loads the Turnstile script from Cloudflare and receives a challenge token. The site sends the token and configured secret key to Cloudflare’s Siteverify endpoint to validate the submission. Cima Digital Conversion Q&A does not intentionally send the question text, display name or email address to Cloudflare as part of Siteverify.

Google reCAPTCHA v3
When Google reCAPTCHA v3 is selected as the anti-bot provider, the visitor’s browser loads Google’s reCAPTCHA script. The site sends the resulting token, the configured secret key and, when available, the visitor IP address to Google’s Siteverify endpoint. Cima Digital Conversion Q&A does not intentionally include the question text, display name or email address in that verification request.

When the site owner explicitly enables analytics events, the plugin can pass event names and technical parameters such as page ID/path, Q&A counts, question/answer IDs and helpful-vote values to an existing gtag.js implementation and/or dataLayer. The plugin does not include the visitor’s name, email address or question text in its analytics event payloads.

Privacy
Questions use WordPress native comment storage. Depending on the site and its other plugins, WordPress comments may store a display name, email address, comment content, IP address and User-Agent.
Cima Digital Conversion Q&A adds suggested text to the WordPress privacy-policy guide. Because Q&A entries use native comments, WordPress’s personal-data export and erasure tools can include or anonymize the associated comment data.
Site owners should review their own privacy obligations and disclose any enabled third-party anti-bot, analytics or indexing services as appropriate for their jurisdiction and configuration.
