📖 How to Use
- Navigate to Map Listings -> Categories and create your first category.
- Go to Locations and click “Add New Location”. Enter the details and place the pin on the map.
- Go to Maps, click “Create New Map”, configure your settings, and save.
- Copy the generated shortcode (e.g.,
[redoy_mpd_map id="1"]) and paste it into any Post, Page, or Widget.
External services
This plugin uses external services to provide maps and geocoding:

Nominatim (OpenStreetMap): Used for address geocoding when searching or saving locations.
- Usage: User addresses and search queries are sent to Nominatim to retrieve map coordinates.

CARTO Basemaps: Used to display the map tile layers (voyager) in the frontend.

Source Code & Build Instructions
The uncompiled source code for the generated JavaScript and CSS assets can be found in the src/ directory of this plugin. We use Vite to build the React application.
To build the assets yourself:
1. Make sure you have Node.js and npm installed.
2. Run npm install in the plugin root directory to install dependencies.
3. Run npm run build to compile the assets.
