Plugin Description
By default Easy Digital Download (EDD) plugin has one built-in PayPal standard gateway. While in many cases this may be enough there are some situations when the second PayPal account may come very helpful.
When do you need the second PayPal account?
Case 1. There are two types of PayPal accounts: personal and business. In some countries there are restrictions of sending money between accounts of the same type. In this case you need to create two accounts, personal and business because buyers of your products will use different accounts.
Case 2. PayPal has micropayment fee different from the standard fee. If you sell both cheep and expensive items you may benefits of using two PayPal accounts.
Case 3. There maybe monthly payment limit to your PayPal account. If you reach this limit you may easily switch to the second PayPal account.
How to use the plugin:
After installing the plugin go to your Admin dashboard and then to Downloads->Settings->Payment Gateways.
In Payment Gateways list you will see the PayPal Standard 2 option appeared.
Below the gateway list you will see the same settings as for the first built-in PayPal gateway.
This plugin also adds one additional setting to both built-in and second PayPal gateway Checkout Name. This is the name of the gateway at your checkout page.
Built-in PayPal gateway has PayPal name which you cant change. Now you have this flexibility.
