Plugin Description
At8 Show IDs adds a compact ID column to almost every list table in the WordPress admin, so you can read the real database ID of an item — and sort the list by ID — without opening each item or digging through developer tools.
Supported list tables:
- Posts — every post type registered with an admin UI, including custom post types
- Pages
- Media library
- Categories
- Tags and any custom taxonomy with an admin UI
- Users
Features:
- The ID column is inserted directly after the checkbox column, so it always sits in the same predictable place.
- Click the ID column header to sort the list by ID, ascending or descending.
- Fixed-width, tabular-aligned numbers keep long lists readable.
- Zero configuration — activate the plugin and it works.
- Front-end output: none. No extra database tables, no external requests, no tracking, no phone-home.
