Usage
Add the shortcode [brexit_timer] to desired post/page/widget and save to have the code working.
Options
One can add some customization to the shortcode such as

Words to preceed the timer = [brexit_timer wording="migration"]

Date = [brexit_timer date="2019-04-12 23:00:00"]

You can also use the combination of all options.
