Plugin Description
CorvoWP Funnel Insights for WooCommerce helps merchants understand purchasing drop-offs without adding third-party analytics scripts to their storefront. The free version includes:
- A WooCommerce revenue and activity dashboard with a 7/30-day trend graph.
- A session-unique conversion funnel: product views, add-to-cart, cart visits, checkout starts and purchases.
- Abandoned cart counts and estimated lost cart value after the configured inactivity period.
- Product engagement signals, exit points and top abandoned products.
- WooCommerce order analytics, including failed-order counts.
- Classic and block cart/checkout support and server-side purchase attribution.
- Optional multi-currency reporting normalized to the store’s configured currency in background jobs.
- Local pseudonymous data storage with retention, deletion controls and consent-aware visitor tracking.
The free plugin does not require a license, account or an external CorvoWP service. Detailed individual session journeys, advanced diagnostic reports and CSV export are available in an optional, separately installed Premium add-on sold by CorvoWP.
Privacy
The free plugin records locally stored pseudonymous ecommerce events after the configured statistics consent signal is available. These may include a random session identifier, page type, product ID, event type, cart amount, currency and timestamps. It does not intentionally collect shopper names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, card details, browser fingerprints, form contents or full visited URLs. Basic WooCommerce order analytics use WooCommerce’s own order data. A logged-in store manager may explicitly enable administrator session testing for their own session only.
Raw behavioural data is automatically deleted after the selected retention period (7–90 days; default 30 days). Daily aggregated statistics may remain. Settings include optional deletion of the plugin’s data upon uninstall. Site owners should disclose their own use of tracking and configure consent where applicable.
External Services
Multi-currency reporting is optional and disabled by default. When explicitly enabled, CorvoWP Funnel Insights retrieves exchange rates from Frankfurter v2 (https://frankfurter.dev/). The request occurs in WordPress background tasks, not during storefront or checkout requests. Only the WooCommerce configured currency code and a generic plugin User-Agent are deliberately sent in the request; no visitor/session, cart, order or customer data is sent in the API query. Like any HTTP request, the remote service receives network metadata such as the requesting server IP. Service documentation: https://frankfurter.dev/ . The Free plugin never contacts CorvoWP for licensing or plugin functionality.
