Cycloon Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
This plugin integrates the Cycloon API into WooCommerce.
- Shipping method at checkout: add “Delivery by Cycloon” to your shipping zones, with its own rate per zone, an optional free-shipping threshold and a fixed Cycloon product per method. Works in both the classic checkout and the checkout blocks.
- Create a shipment from the order page, or automatically when an order reaches “Processing” — for all orders, or only for orders where the customer chose Cycloon at checkout. Choose the product (Pakket, Pakket XL, Brievenbuspakket, Aangetekende brief, Aangetekend pakket), the number of parcels, and the “Handtekening” (signature) and “Niet bij buren” (no delivery to neighbours) options.
- PDF labels per order, or in bulk from the order list. ZPL for label printers is available as a setting.
- Pickup points: let customers choose a nearby parcel point at checkout. Enable it per shipping method, either alongside home delivery or on its own.
- Link an existing shipment: created a shipment in the Cycloon dashboard? Enter its track & trace code on the order and the plugin pulls in the status, the history and the labels.
- Track & trace: refresh the status per order, an hourly automatic sync through Action Scheduler, and a webhook receiver for push updates, secured with HMAC verification. The link to the public tracking page comes from the API, so there is nothing to configure.
- Customer communication: the track & trace code in the order emails and on the “My account” order page.
- Customs: the customs form is shown and required for destinations outside the EU, pre-filled from the order.
- Translation ready: English source strings and a bundled .pot template; translations are delivered through translate.wordpress.org.

Please note: Cycloon only collects parcels in the Netherlands. The plugin therefore requires the store location (WooCommerce ▸ Settings ▸ General) to be set to the Netherlands. With any other store location, the shipping method and shipment creation are disabled.
External services
This plugin sends data to the Cycloon Parcel API at dabba.cycloon.eu. That
connection is required to create shipments, retrieve labels and follow the
status; without it the plugin does not work. Authentication uses the email
address and API key that you request from Cycloon and enter in the plugin
settings. Nothing is sent to Cycloon until those credentials are filled in.
What is sent, and when:
- When a shipment is created (manually from the order page, or
automatically if you enable that): the recipient’s name, company name,
address, postcode, city, country, phone number and email address, the order
number as a reference, the number of parcels, the selected product, the
delivery options and an optional note for the courier. The email address is
included so that Cycloon can send track & trace updates to the recipient.
Your store address from the WooCommerce settings is sent as well, both as
the collection address and as the sender on the label. For destinations
outside the EU, the customs details are included: item descriptions,
quantities, weights, values and HS codes. - When refreshing a status, retrieving a label, cancelling a shipment or
linking an existing shipment: the shipment id or the track & trace code.
Status refreshing also runs automatically, once an hour, for shipments that
are still in transit. - When testing the connection: a non-existent shipment id, to verify that
the connection and your credentials work. - When looking up pickup points at checkout: your customer’s postcode and
country code. This only happens if you enable pickup point delivery and the
customer selects that shipping method. The customer’s browser only talks to
your own site; the plugin performs the lookup server-side and caches the
response for six hours per postcode. No other customer data is included, and
nothing is sent to Cycloon before the customer selects that shipping method.
Cycloon can also push status updates to your site through a webhook, but only
if you ask for that yourself by passing the webhook URL and an HMAC secret to
Cycloon. Requests without a valid signature for that secret are rejected.
