Plugin Description
Daftar Cash lets WordPress and WooCommerce stores in Egypt accept payments from customers through Egyptian mobile wallets and the InstaPay instant payment network, with automatic order confirmation and no per-transaction commission charged by the service.
The plugin is a client for the Daftar Cash service (https://daftarcash.com). A Daftar Cash merchant account is required; plans, pricing and the free trial are described on the service website.
How it works
- The customer chooses “Daftar Cash” on the WooCommerce checkout page.
- The customer is sent to a secure hosted payment page that shows the wallet number, the exact amount and a countdown timer.
- The customer transfers the amount from their wallet or the InstaPay app.
- When the transfer confirmation reaches the merchant’s receiving phone, the service matches it to the order and sends a signed webhook to your store.
- The WooCommerce order is updated automatically, with no manual work from the merchant or the customer.

- Deposit for cash on delivery: optionally ask for a deposit (percentage or fixed amount) to be paid by wallet, with the rest collected on delivery.
- Sandbox mode: test the whole flow with a test key, without moving real money.
The gateway is only offered when the store currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP).
External Services
This plugin relies on the Daftar Cash cloud service (https://daftarcash.com) to create hosted checkout pages, match incoming wallet transfers to orders, and send signed webhook notifications back to your store. It cannot process payments without this service, and using it requires a Daftar Cash merchant account.

What is sent, and when: each time a customer chooses Daftar Cash at checkout and places an order, the plugin sends to the service: the amount to be paid, the WooCommerce order ID, the customer’s billing phone number and billing email address (the email is used to send the customer a payment receipt), the order’s return and cancel URLs, and your Merchant API Key (as a request header, to identify your store). No passwords, card numbers, or identity documents are collected or transmitted by this plugin. The service sends a signed (HMAC-SHA256) webhook to your store’s webhook URL when the payment status changes.
