Plugin Description

Official Digisreda (ДиджиСреда, digisreda.ru) plugin for WordPress:

  • Connect with your organization’s API key.
  • Automatic install of the accessibility widget for your visitors – no manual template editing.
  • Configure the widget (position, color, automatic fixes) directly from wp-admin.
  • Trigger an accessibility scan and review scan history.
  • Quick link to your Digisreda dashboard.

Using the plugin requires a digisreda.ru account and an organization API key (Settings API Keys in the dashboard).

External services

This plugin connects to the API of the “Digisreda” service (digisreda.ru) – a platform for automated website accessibility scanning against WCAG. Without this connection the plugin doesn’t function: it’s a client to your own digisreda.ru account, not a standalone tool.

The connection is only made after you manually enter your organization’s API key in the plugin’s settings (the “Digisreda” section in wp-admin) – before that, the plugin never contacts digisreda.ru.

Once connected, the plugin sends to digisreda.ru:

  • Your site’s name and address (URL) – when adding the site to the dashboard.
  • Accessibility widget settings (button position, color, automatic fixes enabled) – when you change them.
  • A scan request – when you click “Run scan”.

The plugin never sends your visitors’ personal data, passwords, or WordPress license keys. Your organization’s API key is stored in the WordPress database (as an option with autoload=false) and is only ever sent in the Authorization header when calling the digisreda.ru API.

Separately, for your site’s visitors: the embedded accessibility widget loads a script from https://digisreda.ru/static/widget.js and calls a public, unauthenticated digisreda.ru API for its configuration – standard behavior for the embeddable widget, documented separately by the service.
