Your WordPress post. Now also on social media.
You publish in WordPress as usual. This plugin hands the featured image and the post text to DIMEDIAL Robbie, an external service by DIMEDIAL Studio (Herford, Germany). Robbie designs a social media post from it – your original image with a written caption, or optionally, if separately ordered, your individual master layout – writes the caption and sends you a preview on WhatsApp. Nothing is ever published without your explicit approval.
Two operating modes
- Automatic – every post that is published for the first time (optionally only selected categories) is handed over to Robbie.
- Manual – you decide per post with the button “Jetzt auch auf Social Media” (also on draft posts: marked and handed over on publish).
What the plugin does on your site
- Adds a card to the post editor and a status column to the posts list (queued, waiting for your approval, published, error).
- Keeps a small queue (WP-Cron, once a minute) so that only one draft at a time waits for your approval; posts over the API rate limit are retried with growing delays; edits, autosaves and re-publishing never create duplicate drafts.
- Stores your API key server-side only (option without autoload, or as a constant in
wp-config.php); the key is never sent to the browser.
External service – please read
This plugin is a client for the external DIMEDIAL Robbie Social API (https://dimedial.studio/api/integrations/social/…). It only contacts the service after you have entered an API key from your DIMEDIAL customer account. When a post is handed over, the following data is transmitted to DIMEDIAL servers: the featured image file, the post title, the excerpt or the first 60 words of the content, the chosen format (feed/story), your site URL (as HTTP user agent) and an idempotency key derived from site URL and post ID. The connection check transmits only your API key. No data is sent for posts you do not hand over, and no tracking or analytics is included.

Account and pricing (service, not plugin)
The plugin itself is free and fully functional; all of its code is included here. The service requires a DIMEDIAL customer account with a verified WhatsApp number and a connected social channel. New accounts can test the service for 30 days free of charge, without payment details and without automatic renewal. After the test, the DIMEDIAL social media plans apply (each handed-over post counts like an instant post against the monthly quota). An individual master layout is an optional, separately billed design service. Nothing is limited or unlocked inside the plugin itself.
