Entronn Video Player Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
Entronn Video Player replaces the default WordPress video player with a modern, feature-rich player that supports both HLS (.m3u8) and MP4 video formats. It runs in an isolated iframe so it never conflicts with your theme or other plugins.
Features

- Automatically replaces
<video>tags and theshortcode in post content - Gutenberg block — insert a player directly from the block editor
- Shortcode generator — build shortcodes with a live preview in the admin
- Pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ad support with direct video URLs
- Skippable or non-skippable ads with countdown timer
- Sponsor link button displayed during ads
- Resume playback — remembers position per video in the browser
- Subtitles — explicit .vtt URL, auto-probed from video URL, or extracted from video tags
- Poster/thumbnail — explicit URL, post featured image, or auto-extracted from frame 10
- Double-tap to seek 10 seconds on mobile
- Keyboard shortcuts and playback speed control
- Accent colour customisation for player controls

Shortcode usage
[entronn_player src="https://example.entronn.com/video.mp4"]
[entronn_player src="https://example.entronn.com/stream.m3u8" autoplay="1" poster="https://example.entronn.com/thumb.jpg"]
[entronn_player src="URL" track="https://example.entronn.com/subtitles.vtt"]

External services
This plugin connects to a video player rendering service operated by Entronn (entronn.com) to display the actual video player. Every player inserted by the shortcode, block, or automatic <video> tag replacement is an iframe pointing to this service, hosted at reverse.enixplus.com, which supplies the player interface (built on hls.js) — including HLS/MP4 playback, resume-position, double-tap seek, and the pre-roll/mid-roll/post-roll ad logic described above.
Each time a visitor loads a page containing a player, their browser requests the iframe from this service. The video URL you configured is sent as a URL parameter so the service knows what to play, along with (only when configured) the poster image URL, subtitle (.vtt) URL, ad video URLs, sponsor link, and the accent/gradient colors set in Player Settings. The video, poster, and subtitle files themselves are loaded directly from wherever you host them — not proxied through this service. No visitor personal data is deliberately collected by the plugin; as with any iframe request, the service’s server log records standard connection metadata (e.g. IP address) for the request, the same as any embedded third-party player.
