Plugin Description
Includes category scope, counts, pagination, shortcode, automatic index updates and manual rebuild. No product-count cap. Separate FacetCore Pro adds Table columns, Table/Grid switching, additional card attributes, Custom CSS and saved selection links.
Upgrading
Back up the database. Replace the old facetcore plugin in place; do not delete/uninstall it. Obtain and activate the separate Pro ZIP to retain all paid features. There is no automatic entitlement or Pro delivery mechanism. Existing Finder IDs, shortcodes and database tables are preserved.
Lite supports all public published Finders without a quantity limit. The old active Finder option is ignored; configurations, IDs and publication statuses are retained. Saved Table falls back to Grid. Re-enabling Pro restores paid settings. All public published Finders work in either edition. Deactivation never removes data; deleting the base plugin removes FacetCore-owned data. Deleting Pro does not remove shared data.
Selection links
Selection links are Pro-only in 1.3.0. Lite starts normally on old Pro links without reading or changing their Finder parameters. Its filters, search and pagination still work without reloading. Pro preserves the existing URL format, Back/Forward, independent Finder states, copying and unrelated parameters. Automatic indexing and manual rebuild remain in both editions. Update both editions together; Finder configurations are unchanged.
Compatibility
Edition integration tested on WordPress 7.1, WooCommerce 11.1.1, PHP 8.3.33. Minimum-version and multisite runtime matrices and visual browser checks were not run for this release.
