With Focus on Reviews for WooCommerce the idea is simple. Use reviews to sell your products.
It’s a sad reality of selling online that very few people actually read product descriptions. There are several reasons for this. Laziness, busy, they make assumptions of what they’re getting, or perhaps they’ve already done their homework and know what they’e buying. In any event, the product description is mostly wasted space used for SEO and protecting yourself against customers who simply failed to read it. What does this plugin actually do?
Instead of opening the product description when the product page loads, the review tab will open instead, highlighting all the customer recommendations for the product.
But what if there are no reviews? If there are no reviews for a product the description tab will open as usual
By focusing in on the reviews you are highlighting more effectively why your customer should buy the product, and buy it from you. Let your past customers influence your new ones
Will this hurt SEO?
No. Google will still read the page in the correct order. Description, Additional info, reviews. There will be no negative impact on SEO.
Will this move the review tab?
No, the tabs will stay in their usual position. All this does is makes the review tab the active one

Yes, this plugin does have a paid version with more options to make the reviews stand out more and more options when a review is missing.
What comes in the pro version?
- Set a different default tab to open when there are no reviews. This will work with custom tab plugins and custom tab code. Ideal for promoting shipping info and newsletter sign up forms
- Change the stars to a different icon
- Set the size of the star icon for both mobile and desktop
- Change icon color
- Reverse the review order so that the most recent and relevant reviews are at the top
