Plugin Description
GDA Kraft Booking (public beta) turns WordPress into a booking site for accommodation: holiday homes, guest houses, B&Bs, villas and small hotels. Everything in this plugin works on its own, without any account, subscription or “Pro” version.
What you get for free
- Accommodations and units: listings with photos, property types and amenities, capacity (adults / children) per unit.
- Rates: base price per night, seasons and rate rules, weekend prices, minimum stay, length-of-stay discounts, coupons, extra services, fees and tourist tax.
- Availability: availability calendar per unit, closed days, arrival / departure days, buffers between stays.
- iCal sync: import and export calendars with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and any iCal-compatible channel.
- Bookings: manual bookings from the back office, and booking requests from your site: the guest sends a request, you confirm it and settle the payment offline (bank transfer, on site).
- Guest experience: search form, results, availability calendar, booking form, price breakdown, guest portal with messages and documents.
- Emails: confirmation, request received, reminders before arrival and review requests.
- Texts and labels: rename any text shown by the plugin (for example “Guests” to “Persons”) without code.
- Page builders: native blocks for the block editor (Gutenberg), plus widgets for Elementor and modules for Divi 5. Bricks support is coming.
Why GDA Kraft Booking
- Designed around accommodation: nightly pricing, seasons, minimum stays, tourist tax and iCal channels are part of the core, not add-ons sold separately.
- One engine for every builder: the same booking components are rendered natively in Gutenberg, Elementor and Divi 5, with no shortcode soup.
- Your data stays in WordPress: bookings, guests and prices are stored in your own database. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to connect a Kraft GDA account.
- Free, without a paid version: there is no locked feature in this plugin and no upgrade screen.
Kraft GDA (free account) unlocks
If you want more, a free Kraft GDA account gives access to the separate GDA Kraft Booking Connect add-on (downloaded from your Kraft GDA account, not from WordPress.org):
- Online payments with Kraft Pay (Stripe): deposits, automatic balance collection and one-click refunds.
- Management dashboard on the front end (bookings, planning, invoices, messages).
- Design modules: galleries, room tour, guest book, booking box.
- Custom fields for listings, compatible with ACF.
- Multilingual site with a language switcher.
- Appointments: services, staff and time slots, in the same engine as nightly stays.
- AI assistant through the WordPress Abilities API (MCP).
These hosted features are services run by Kraft GDA (SaaS): they require a Kraft GDA account and the Connect add-on. Connecting an account is optional and never required to use this plugin.
The plugin and the account are free. Online payments made through Kraft Pay carry a service fee paid by the traveler: 0.45 % until 30 June 2027, then 0.9 %. The fee applies only to online payments; offline payments and booking requests are never charged.
Beta
GDA Kraft Booking is in public beta (0.x versions). Version 1.0 is planned for June 2027. Please report any issue in the support forum.
External services
The plugin works without any external service. It only contacts the services below in the situations described.
Kraft GDA (https://app.global-digital-agency.fr) — optional account, used only if you click “Create my free account” or “I already have an account” in Kraft Booking › Kraft GDA.
- When: only when you click one of these buttons to connect the site, and when you click “Disconnect”. This plugin makes no background request to Kraft GDA and sends no statistics or usage data.
- Data sent: site address and name, administrator email address, plugin, WordPress and PHP versions, admin language, and a one-time connection code.

OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org) — optional place suggestions in the “City” field of the search module. Disabled by default: nothing is sent unless an administrator ticks “Suggest places… (OpenStreetMap Nominatim)” in Kraft Booking › Settings › External services. While it is disabled the field is a plain text field and the plugin makes no request to Nominatim.
- When: only once enabled, when a visitor types at least 3 characters in that field (requests go from your server; results are cached for 24 hours).
- Data sent: the text typed in the field, the site language, and your site address in the User-Agent header (required by the Nominatim usage policy). No visitor IP address or other personal data is forwarded.

iCal calendars you add (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or any other channel) — calendar synchronisation.
- When: every 15 minutes, only for the calendar URLs you entered in an accommodation.
- Data sent: a standard HTTP request to the URL you provided (no booking or guest data).
- Terms and privacy: those of the channel that provides the calendar URL.
