GDC Crypto Payments for WooCommerce adds Bitcoin payment support to WooCommerce with two ways to use the plugin:

Free Self-Hosted Mode
Connect your own BTCPay Server and accept payments directly through your infrastructure. -
Optional Managed Merchant Mode (Pro)
Use an optional licensed merchant service for guided setup and managed merchant store provisioning.

External Services
This plugin can connect to external services depending on the payment mode selected by the merchant.
Go Digital Crew API
When optional Managed Merchant Mode is enabled, the plugin connects to the Go Digital Crew API at:

This service is used for:
– license activation and validation
– merchant store provisioning
– wallet connection setup
– managed invoice creation
– managed merchant store updates
Data sent may include:
– license key
– license email
– website URL
– plugin version
– wallet public key only (xpub, ypub, or zpub)
– order amount and currency
– order reference data required for invoice creation
This data is only sent when the merchant enables and uses optional Managed Merchant Mode features.
The plugin never sends:
– seed phrases
– private keys
– wallet passwords

Remote Notices Service
The plugin may periodically connect to:

This is used to retrieve plugin notices and announcements displayed in the WordPress admin dashboard.
No customer payment data or wallet credentials are sent to this service.

Self-Hosted BTCPay Server
In Free Self-Hosted Mode, the plugin connects directly to the merchant-configured BTCPay Server instance in order to create invoices and process payment requests.
Data sent may include:
– order amount
– order currency
– order ID
– customer billing details required for invoice creation
– return URL
– webhook/callback URL
This service is fully controlled by the merchant.
Privacy
This plugin does not transmit payment funds.
Optional external service communication occurs only when Managed Merchant Mode is enabled.
