Globe Boss Detect Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
Globe Boss Detect scans your WordPress site for SEO metadata problems that quietly drag down your rankings — duplicate titles, missing descriptions, and leftover data from SEO plugins you no longer use.
What it detects (free)
- Duplicate SEO titles — two or more pages sharing the same title tag
- Duplicate meta descriptions — the same description on multiple indexable pages
- Duplicate page titles — identical native WordPress post titles, separate from SEO title overrides
- Missing SEO titles — pages with no title set
- Missing meta descriptions — pages with no description set
- Cross-plugin conflicts — posts where two SEO plugins both hold metadata, so which one renders is unpredictable
- Ghost metadata — leftover data from an SEO plugin that is no longer active, commonly left behind after switching from one SEO plugin to another
Most duplicate checkers read only the SEO plugin currently active. Globe Boss Detect reads them all at once, which is how it finds conflicts and ghost data that other tools cannot see.
Built to avoid false positives
A duplicate is only worth reporting if it actually hurts you. Globe Boss Detect skips noindex pages, attachment pages, and the posts page and static front page set under Settings > Reading, since those hold no metadata of their own. It can strip your site name from titles before comparing so templated branding does not read as duplication, and you can exclude specific post IDs where similarity is intentional.
Works with your SEO plugin
Globe Boss Detect reads metadata from:
- Yoast SEO (including title template resolution)
- Rank Math
- All in One SEO (AIOSEO)
- The SEO Framework
- SEOPress
Page title detection works with no SEO plugin at all. Every issue shows which plugin the value came from, so you always know what you are looking at.
Smart scanning
The scanner is chunked and runs in the background, so it never times out on large sites. You can navigate away during a scan and come back when it is done.
Free vs Pro
The free plugin is genuinely useful and not limited trialware. Pro adds AI-powered analysis on top:
- Semantic duplicate detection — finds pages with different titles that target the same intent
- AI rewrite suggestions — unique title and description alternatives generated per page
- AI issue prioritisation — ranked explanations of which issues matter most for your rankings
- Bulk AI fix — select affected pages, review suggested replacements, and write them straight back to your SEO plugin
- Scheduled scans and email reports
- Agency tier (coming soon)
AI features require the Globe Boss Detect Pro add-on and WordPress 7.0 or later, which provides the built-in AI Client. You choose your AI provider under Settings > Connectors and WordPress manages the credentials. Metadata is sent only with your explicit consent (opt-in toggle in Settings). No user data, personal information, or post content is transmitted — only SEO titles and descriptions.
Privacy
The free version performs all analysis locally on your server. No data leaves your site.
Pro users who enable AI analysis consent explicitly before any data is sent, and the request is routed by WordPress to the provider they configured. See the Settings screen for full details.
Development
Globe Boss Detect is built and maintained by Globe Boss, a Dublin-based SEO and digital marketing agency.
External Services
Globe Boss Detect does not contact any third-party service directly and does not store any API credentials.
All scanning and duplicate detection runs locally on your own server. Nothing leaves your site for this.
The optional AI features in the Pro add-on use the WordPress AI Client built into WordPress 7.0 and later. WordPress routes the request to whichever AI provider you, the site owner, have configured under Settings > Connectors. Globe Boss Detect never chooses a provider, never contacts one directly, and never sees or stores your API keys.
What is sent when you run AI analysis:
Only the SEO titles and meta descriptions gathered by your scan. No post content, no user data, no personal information, and no credentials.
When it is sent:
Only when all of these are true: you have the Pro add-on active, your WordPress install provides the AI Client, you have enabled AI features in Settings, you have ticked the consent checkbox in Settings, and you manually start an AI analysis.
Because the provider is your choice, the applicable terms and privacy policy are those of the provider you configure in Settings > Connectors.
If you do not install Pro, do not enable AI features, or do not give consent, no data ever leaves your server.
