Plugin Description
TLDR: Goal Tracker for Google Analytics GA4 is a no-code tool that helps you set up event tracking for your WordPress website.
Working with GA4 can be, well, challenging, especially after years of experience with Universal Tracking. But if you do it right, GA4 can become a very powerful tool.
Events are now the driving force behind Google Analytics and allow you to uncover more insights into how visitors use your website.
We created Goal Tracker for Google Analytics to reduce the complexity of working with events to make life with GA4 a little easier.
What’s in the box?
- Track Links – both internal and external (looking at you, Enhanced Measurements)
- Email Links – A more straightforward way to track emails.
- Visibility Tracking – Fire an event when an element comes into view on the page (Ads, CTA buttons, Pricing Tables…)
- Click Tracking – Track user clicks on any element on the page, such as a contact form submit button or a call to action button.
- Easy setup for debug_mode
- Much more to come in the next few months.
Already using Google Tag Manager?
While Google Tag Manager has been here for years, we think that it could improve when it comes to event tracking.
Goal Tracker for Google Analytics reduces some guesswork involved with recommended events and only takes a few clicks.
Oh, and the plugin can work on a website that already uses Google Tag Manager.
