Plugin Description

Gravity Forms EN16931 Fields — code lists & scheme-identifier fields for e-invoicing

Bring the EN16931 / XÖV / KoSIT code lists into Gravity Forms. Use them as ready-made
predefined choices for any drop down, and add e-Invoicing field types that can carry a scheme identifier
(BT-xx-1) — everything you need to capture electronic-invoice data in a form.

Why you’ll love it

  • 17 EN16931 code lists built in. EAS, ICD, ISO 3166 (countries), ISO 4217
    (currencies), MIME, UN/ECE Rec. 20 & 21, UNTDID 1001 / 1153 / 2005 / 4451 / 4461 / 5189 / 5305
/ 7143 / 7161 and VATEX — read straight from bundled JSON, no import needed.
  • One-click predefined choices. Insert a whole list into a Drop Down, Radio or
Checkbox from the editor’s Bulk-Add flyout.
  • Label = description, value = code. The dropdown shows the human-readable
description (e.g. Andorra) and stores the code (AD) — exactly what an e-invoice
needs. (ISO 3166 shows the short country name.)
  • Four e-Invoicing field types. Copies of the native Text, Paragraph, Drop Down
and Email fields, grouped under e-Invoicing Fields.
  • Reference list + scheme identifier. Each field can reference a code list and a
scheme identifier taken from it — for the BT-xx-1 attributes EN16931 uses.
  • Stored as the ”.1” sub-value. The scheme identifier is saved as the field’s
.1 value (like the Name / Address sub-inputs), while the entered value stays the normal
field value. Both are available in entries, exports and merge tags.
  • Plays well with the family. Shares the e-Invoicing Fields group with
the companion TAXES, SEPA and VAT-ID field add-ons.
  • Translatable. Text domain gfen16931; German translation included.

How it works

  1. Activate the plugin — the code lists become available immediately (nothing to import).
  2. For a normal Drop Down, open Bulk Add / Predefined Choices and pick a code list.
  3. For an identifier that needs a scheme, add an e-Invoicing field, choose a
Reference list and a Scheme identifier — it is stored as the
    field’s .1 value on submission.

The field types

  • e-Invoice Text — copy of Single Line Text.
  • e-Invoice Paragraph — copy of Paragraph Text.
  • e-Invoice Drop Down — copy of Drop Down (choices can be filled from a code list).
  • e-Invoice Email — copy of Email.

What’s included

  • The plugin (predefined choices + four field types + the code-list data).
  • English and German translations (text domain gfen16931).
  • Full documentation in English and German (README + feature overview).

Requirements & compatibility

  • Gravity Forms 2.5+
  • WordPress 5.0+ (tested on current 6.x / 7.0)
  • PHP 7.4+

Changelog

1.0.0

  • EN16931 code lists as predefined choices (label = description, value = code; ISO 3166 uses the
    short name).
  • Four e-Invoicing field types (text, textarea, select, email) with reference-list and
scheme-identifier settings; scheme identifier stored as the field’s ”.1” sub-value.
