This is a standalone free plugin. All included features work without a premium upgrade, license key or external service account.
Common ways to use Min Max Quantities
- Sell products in packs of six: set a minimum quantity of 6 and a quantity multiple of 6.
- Limit the number of units a customer can add to an order with a maximum quantity rule.
- Set a minimum order amount for the cart, with a defined tax and discount basis.
- Combine matching products or variations when a minimum applies to a group.
- Apply different rules to guests, customer roles or selected users.
The plugin checks applicable rules on the server as well as in the interface. You choose which rules to enable; a fresh installation starts with none enabled.
WooCommerce quantity limits, steps and order amounts
- Set independent minimum quantities, maximum quantities and multiples, such as packs of two or six.
- Suggest a starting quantity without replacing a shopper’s existing valid selection.
- Apply rules to simple products, variations, matching product groups or the whole cart.
- Set minimum and maximum amounts with an explicit discount and tax basis.
- Include shipping and fees in cart-wide amount checks when required.
Product and customer targeting
- Include products, categories, tags and global attributes, using All or Any matching where available.
- Configure individual quantities or combined group counting.
- Exclude products, categories, tags, users and user roles.
- Distinguish items exempt from a rule from items excluded from its count.
- Target guests, signed-in customers, roles or individual users.
- Define explicit variation exceptions without silently overriding unrelated rules.
Manage rules with confidence
- Preview a draft before saving and see explanations of its effect.
- Duplicate rules and review bulk actions before applying them.
- Export configuration and review a JSON import before confirming it.
- Customize customer messages using supported placeholders.
- Download local diagnostics when troubleshooting; the plugin does not send the report automatically.
Checks run on the server as well as in the interface. No rule is enabled on a fresh installation. The optional Min/Max AI integration allows authorized users to read rules and stage supported quantity-rule proposals. An AI proposal requires a separate human confirmation; an external MCP adapter and client are not bundled.
Privacy and optional AI access
The plugin does not include telemetry, automatic diagnostic uploads or a built-in external AI service. Rules and custom messages are stored in your WordPress database. Customer targeting can store WordPress user IDs and role names; configuration exports can contain these identifiers, hashed user bindings, product references and merchant-entered text. Treat exports as private store configuration.
AI access is disabled by default. A site administrator must enable it, and each requesting WordPress user must have shop-management permission. If you connect a separate MCP adapter and AI client, that client can read rule configuration, including targeting identifiers and custom text. Review your chosen adapter/client’s permissions, privacy policy and terms before connecting it. No external provider account is required to use Min/Max. Proposed changes are held temporarily for review by the same WordPress user; the AI tools do not directly approve changes.
Diagnostics are generated locally and omit site URLs, filesystem paths, user identities, orders, rule names and custom messages. You decide whether to download and share them. Saved configuration is retained when the plugin is removed, as described below.
Works alongside HS Dynamic Pricing & Discounts
When both are installed, promotion previews can show Min/Max restrictions, and amount rules can use a before-Pricing basis. Min/Max also works without Pricing.
Requirements and boundaries
Requires WooCommerce 10.6 or later, WordPress 6.8 or later and PHP 8.2 or later. Native lifecycle checks cover WP 6.8 / Woo 10.6.0 and WP 7.1 / Woo 11.1.0 on PHP 8.2.29. Observe WooCommerce’s own WordPress requirements. Other PHP branches and every intermediate combination have not been verified.
Classic cart/checkout, selected Blocks/Store API flows, variations and HPOS have local test evidence. Elementor, Avada and other untested third-party stacks are not declared compatible. Whole quantities are supported; decimal quantities, weight limits and lifetime customer purchase limits are not implemented.
