Plugin Description
HopMembers for WooCommerce is a connector plugin for the HopMembers service. After a customer pays for a WooCommerce product, HopMembers can automatically grant (or revoke) access to your Discord, Telegram, or WhatsApp community.
This plugin does not process payments itself. WooCommerce remains your checkout. HopMembers is the membership and community-access layer.
What this plugin does
- Connects your WooCommerce store to your HopMembers account with a one-time connect code
- Registers WooCommerce webhooks so paid and refunded orders are sent to HopMembers
- Lets HopMembers list your products so you can map them to community channels
- Removes the connection and webhooks when you disconnect or uninstall the plugin
External service
This plugin requires a HopMembers account. Connecting the plugin sends data from your WordPress site to HopMembers so access can be provisioned after purchase.
When you click Connect, the plugin sends your connect code, site URL, and site name to HopMembers over HTTPS (https://hopmembers.com/api/apps/woocommerce/plugin/connect).
After you connect, WooCommerce delivers order webhooks (create, update, delete, and status changes such as processing, completed, cancelled, and refunded) to HopMembers (https://hopmembers.com/api/webhooks/woocommerce). HopMembers also requests your product catalog from this site using a store-specific access token.
A HopMembers account is required. HopMembers is a paid service for creators; see pricing on the HopMembers site. All plugin code in this directory is available under GPLv2 or later.

Data sent to HopMembers
- Site URL and site name, used to identify the store
- The one-time connect code you paste from HopMembers
- WooCommerce order payloads via webhooks (order id, status, line items, customer fields WooCommerce includes in webhooks)
- Product id, name, status, and variation details when HopMembers loads your catalog
No data is sent until a store administrator with WooCommerce management capability connects the plugin. Disconnecting or uninstalling the plugin stops webhooks and tells HopMembers to drop the store connection.
