Hotel Booking Notifier – Automated emails
This is an extension of the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin that will help you create and schedule common email notifications to would-be guests or past guests.
Drive ancillary revenue by sending relevant pre-arrival emails. Automate your workflow by sending common house rules or self-service instruction emails. Ask for reviews or send coupons in after-departure emails. Set all types of email notifications on autopilot!
With this Hotel Booking Notifier add-on, you can easily send any volume of tailor-made automated emails to your guests. Most importantly, those emails can contain information specific to the accommodation type booked, so should there be different information for room #1 and #2 in the same “key pick-up instruction” email, the add-on has got you covered.

Event-driven Emails Based on Arrival/Departure
The plugin allows you to create and automatically send conditional emails in any number of days before or after the check-in and check-out dates (they work as triggers). Any sort of email for your business realities is possible: tell how to get to your place, list local attractions and dining facilities, inform about lockboxes, send welcome emails or individual discount coupons, etc.
Any Volume of Common Automated Emails
You can have as many accommodation-independent notifications for every booking as needed. If there is any type of email every guest must get, just create a common template and schedule the time frame for it. Those can be traditional thank you/we miss you emails.
Once the add-on is activated, you’ll notice two new fields for each accommodation type – there you can state any information related to that specific property type (e.g. direction to self-service check-in kiosks can be different depending on a property.)
Guests will receive emails related to the accommodation type they booked. No toilsome work in optimizing automated rental property emails for individual accommodation types!
Send Emails to Different Recipients
It’s not only guests who can receive notifications on their bookings! The same or different emails can be automatically sent to the website admin or any custom email addresses (e.g. of your housekeeper).
You can save even more time on communication since you won’t need to additionally contact your staff and notify them about each booking.
Easy-to-use Templates for Automated Emails
We’ve prepared handy tags to help you customize email templates in a matter of minutes. You can also include any needed information related to the booking details of each guest. Feel free to test how emails work by sending test emails to the admin from the dashboard.
1. Add a new notification for automated emails (e.g. dining facilities.)
2. Schedule it by setting up a trigger: in how many days before/after the arrival or departure it’s sent.
3. Select the recipients: confirmed reservations (your guests), the website admin or some custom email addresses. Multiple recipients are okay.
4. Create a dedicated email template. Optionally use Accommodation Notice 1/Accommodation Notice 2 macros if you need these tags to get replaced with custom property information.
5. If you chose to use Accommodation Notices during step #4, add those individual notices via the corresponding Accommodation type menu. Don’t leave Accommodation Notice 1/Accommodation Notice 2 fields empty if you don’t want guests to receive emails with empty strings.
Test the waters by sending a test email to the admin (it will use a random booking).
