Plugin Description
IT-Services Mertineit – Shop Connector for Papierkram manually transfers WooCommerce orders to Papierkram as draft invoices. Papierkram remains the leading system for the invoice number, document status, and document history.
Features:
- Manual creation of draft invoices from the order screen (order actions) – invoices are created manually only
- Customers are found in Papierkram by email address and reused, or created if they do not exist (guest orders included)
- Product line items with the original unit price, quantity, and product number
- Coupons are transferred as separate negative line items, one per coupon
- Shipping costs are transferred as a separate line item
- Small-business mode under German Section 19 UStG (0% VAT on all line items)
- Shipping status and an optional tracking number can be maintained on the WooCommerce order for real shipping orders (local pickup and purely digital orders are excluded); this data is stored only in WooCommerce and is currently not transferred to Papierkram
- Duplicate protection, order notes, and a meta box showing the invoice number, status, and a link to Papierkram
- Invoice number and status can be updated after the invoice has been finalized in Papierkram
- Logging via WooCommerce
Workflow: Create the draft invoice manually from the order review and finalize the invoice in Papierkram manually update the invoice number and status in WooCommerce.
Requirements: WooCommerce, a Papierkram account with API access (plan M or L), and an API token from Papierkram (Settings > API).
Product numbers are mandatory: Every product and variation line item requires a product number. For variable products, the product number of the specific variation is checked; the parent product’s number is not used as a substitute. If at least one line item is missing a product number, the transfer is aborted – no new Papierkram customer and no invoice is created. The administrator receives a clear order note and a log entry.
Not included: no automatic invoice creation, no PDF transfer.

This plugin connects to the Papierkram API (papierkram.de), a cloud accounting service operated by odacer finanzsoftware GmbH, Konrad-Adenauer-Ring 13, 65187 Wiesbaden, Germany. Papierkram is used to create and update draft invoices and customer records based on WooCommerce orders.
When you trigger a transfer manually from an order (or run the connection test on the settings page), the plugin sends requests from your web server to your own Papierkram account. Depending on the order, the following data can be transmitted: billing name or company name, email address, billing address, phone number (if present), order number, product names, product numbers, quantities, prices, coupons/discounts, shipping costs, and tax information. The transfer happens server-side; no data is sent from the customer’s browser. Your Papierkram API token is used to authenticate these requests. No data is sent to any service other than Papierkram.
