Plugin Description
Your LayoodWapi account already connects to this store via the WooCommerce REST API (Store URL + Consumer Key/Secret, entered on your LayoodWapi WooCommerce settings page) — that connection alone covers order confirmations, shipping updates, cancellations, and review requests, and works without this plugin.
This plugin adds two things the REST API alone cannot see:
- Real pre-checkout abandoned-cart tracking — captures a customer’s phone number the moment they type it at checkout, before any order exists at all.
- Instant order-status events — fires the moment an order’s status changes on this site, instead of waiting for WordPress’s own background task scheduler (WP-Cron) to eventually deliver a webhook.
Both are additive — nothing breaks or changes if you don’t install this, and nothing breaks if you later remove it.
Requirements
- WooCommerce, installed and active.
- Classic (shortcode) checkout for the phone-capture feature specifically — WooCommerce’s newer block-based checkout isn’t supported yet for that one piece; order-status events work either way.
