External Services
This plugin connects to api.mute-it.com, a service operated by Ryu-Raku Inc., for the following purposes:
- Spam detection (
https://api.mute-it.com/client.js): A JavaScript file is loaded on every page of your site. It detects automated bot submissions and blocks them before they are sent. - Status check (
https://api.mute-it.com/wp/status): Once per hour, the plugin fetches your account status (trial/active/expired) and blocked submission count to display in your WordPress admin panel.
Your site’s domain (origin) is sent with these requests for authentication purposes. No personal visitor data is transmitted.
