Accessibility

MyLiking helps your website meet WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards, making your site accessible to everyone including people with disabilities.

Usage

  1. After activation, you will see “Myliking” in your WordPress admin menu
  2. Click on “Myliking” to access the plugin settings
  3. Click “Sign in with MyLiking” to authenticate via liking.jp OAuth
  4. Configure widget settings including:
    • Widget color selection
    • Widget positioning
    • Embed code generation
  5. Copy the embed code and add it to your website

External services

This plugin connects to the MyLiking service operated by Toreador Inc. (liking.jp) to authenticate the site owner, retrieve widget settings, and deliver the accessibility widget script to site visitors. Using this plugin requires a MyLiking account. No data is sent to any third party other than MyLiking.

MyLiking OAuth 2.0 authentication (admin only)

When the site administrator clicks “Sign in with MyLiking” on the plugin admin page, the plugin uses PKCE (RFC 7636) to obtain an access token.

  • Endpoints called:
    • GET https://liking.jp/o/authorize/ (browser redirect)
    • POST https://liking.jp/o/token/
    • GET https://liking.jp/oauth/userinfo/
  • Data sent: OAuth client_id, code, code_verifier, state, and the site’s admin URL (as redirect_uri).
  • When: at explicit administrator action (login) and, transparently, when the access token needs to be refreshed.

MyLiking domain and widget configuration API (admin only)

While the administrator uses the plugin dashboard the plugin calls the MyLiking API to read and update the widget configuration for the site’s registered domain.

  • Endpoints called (authenticated with the OAuth access token):
    • GET https://liking.jp/api/widget-color-settings
    • POST https://liking.jp/api/domains/{domain_id}/update-widget-color/{color_id}/
    • POST https://liking.jp/api/domains/{domain_id}/update-position/
    • POST https://liking.jp/api/domains/{domain_id}/toggle-widget-hide/
    • POST https://liking.jp/api/domains/{domain_id}/toggle-logo-hidden/
  • Data sent: OAuth access token in the Authorization header, and the admin’s choice of widget color / position / hide flag.
  • When: only in response to administrator actions on the plugin dashboard.

MyLiking accessibility widget (all site visitors)

Once the site is connected to MyLiking, the plugin adds a <script> tag to the front-end so that visitors can use the accessibility widget.

  • Loaded from: https://liking.jp/static/js/myliking.min.js
  • The widget script, running in the visitor’s browser, fetches its own configuration from https://liking.jp/api/domains/{domain_id}/config/. This request carries only the visitor’s browser Referer header (used by MyLiking to verify the request comes from the registered domain) plus the domain UUID in the URL.
  • No visitor personal data is sent by the plugin itself. Please refer to the MyLiking Privacy Policy for details on what the widget collects in the browser.
