Plugin Description

Nexconform Consent Manager is a cookie consent management solution. It displays a customizable consent banner on the front end of your site and records the choices visitors make, so you have proof of consent for audits.

The plugin is designed to help site owners meet the requirements of:

  • GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation in the European Union)
  • The ePrivacy Directive (cookies and similar technologies)
  • The Canadian privacy law commonly referred to as Law 25, which applies in the province of Quebec

Features

  • Quick setup: enter your Org ID and the banner is live
  • Customizable banner appearance, managed from your Nexconform dashboard
  • Categories supported: essential, analytics, marketing and social media cookies
  • Compatible with Google Consent Mode v2
  • Consent records stored as audit evidence
  • Multilingual banner: English and French
  • Lightweight script, designed to minimize impact on page performance

How it works

  1. Create an account on nexconform.ca
  2. Configure your banner from the dashboard
  3. Copy your Org ID
  4. Paste it into Settings then Nexconform Consent Manager
  5. The banner appears on your site.

External services

This plugin loads a JavaScript file from the Nexconform content delivery network at https://cdn.nexconform.ca/v1.js on the front end of your site. The script displays the consent banner and records the visitor’s choice, using the Org ID you provide in the settings.

  • Service provider: Nexconform
  • Service website: https://nexconform.ca
  • Terms of service: https://nexconform.ca/terms
  • Privacy policy: https://nexconform.ca/privacy

The script is loaded on every page where the banner is enabled. When a visitor interacts with the banner, the consent choice is sent to the Nexconform service to provide audit evidence required by GDPR and similar privacy laws.
