Order Workspace for WooCommerce gives your team a structured place to manage the internal information behind every order.
Create custom order fields such as Priority, Supplier, Expected date, Internal reference, Quality check, or Preparation notes. Use them directly while processing an order, show important values as sortable columns, and find orders using the standard WooCommerce search and filters.
Instead of spreading operational details across order notes, spreadsheets, email, and separate tools, keep the information connected to the WooCommerce order where your team already works.

Different stores need different operational information. Order Workspace lets you define the fields that match your process without exposing them to customers or changing the checkout.
You can:
- Create Text, Long text, Number, Select, Yes/No, and Date fields.
- Choose which fields appear while editing WooCommerce orders.
- Display selected fields as columns in WooCommerce > Orders.
- Sort useful Workspace columns in ascending or descending order.
- Search Workspace information from the main WooCommerce order search.

Find the right order faster
Workspace fields become part of the daily WooCommerce order-management experience.
The order search can include your active Workspace fields as well as WooCommerce’s standard order data. You can search across all available information, search only Order Workspace fields, or choose an individual field such as Internal reference, Supplier, or Expected date.
Date searches accept useful visible and numeric formats, while Select fields can be found using their readable option labels.
Supported Workspace columns can also be sorted directly from their column headers. Dates sort chronologically, numbers numerically, text alphabetically, Select values by their configured option order, and Yes/No fields by status.

Order Workspace can support many operational workflows without becoming a separate back-office system.

Safe field lifecycle

Archiving removes a field from the active workflow while preserving its existing order values. You can restore it later, or permanently delete it through a deliberate cleanup action. Select options can also be retired without breaking historical orders that already use them.

Version 1 manages fields created by Order Workspace. It is not a generic editor for arbitrary metadata from every third-party plugin. This focused scope keeps the workflow understandable and reduces compatibility problems.
Data ownership and privacy
Workspace field definitions and order values stay in your WordPress and WooCommerce database.
Order Workspace does not send Workspace order data to an external service and does not require a remote account. Deactivation and uninstall do not silently destroy merchant data.
