Plugin Description
PollHive lets you run unlimited text or image-based polls and contests, with a dashboard, analytics, and reporting built for site admins — and a polished, theme-aware voting experience for your visitors.
Voting & polls
- Unlimited polls and unlimited options per poll.
- Text polls and image/contest polls.
- Single-choice and multiple-choice polls.
- Logged-in voting with one vote per user per poll, and the ability to change a vote at any time (per-poll control).
- Live AJAX voting — no page reloads.
- Scheduled polls (open at a future date) and automatic closing of expired polls.
- Optional rate limiting against rapid repeat votes.
Results
- Percentages, vote counts, progress bars, and a highlighted winning option.
- Pie and bar charts powered by Chart.js (bundled, GPL-compatible).
- Per-poll control over when results become visible: always, after voting, or after the poll closes.

- A dedicated page for every poll at /poll/{id}/{slug}/ with stats, results, and related polls.
- A filterable, sortable poll archive page (status, category, tag filters; newest/most votes/trending sort) — created automatically on activation.

- Automatically adopts your theme’s primary color (Astra Global Colors and block-theme theme.json palettes supported, with a built-in fallback).
Admin
- Dashboard with recent polls, popular polls, stat cards, a 30-day voting activity chart, and a getting-started checklist.
- Analytics screen with vote trends, top polls, device breakdown, and a recent votes feed.
- Poll builder with drag-and-drop option sorting, Media Library image options, categories, and free-form tags.
- Duplicate, activate/deactivate, bulk actions, and per-poll shortcode copying.
- Optional read-only REST API (off by default).
- Clean uninstall: all plugin data is removed on delete only if you opt in under Settings.
