Plugin Description
Postlinkly helps WordPress site owners build and maintain a healthy internal-link structure across their content.
What it does:
- Link suggestions — As you edit a post, Postlinkly analyses your content and suggests relevant posts to link to, with anchor text picked from the surrounding sentence.
- One-click and bulk insertion — Review the suggestions, adjust the anchor if you like, and insert one link or several at once. Postlinkly never adds a link you have not approved.
- Target keywords — Import focus keywords from Yoast SEO, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress, or Squirrly, or enter them manually. The suggestion engine uses them to boost the most relevant candidates.
- Link report — A full table of every internal and external link found in your content, with inbound and outbound counts per post and CSV export.
- Orphaned posts — Finds published posts that nothing links to.
- Internal-link rot detection — Flags links whose target post or term has been deleted or unpublished, so you can fix them before they hurt your SEO.
What it does not do:
- No subscription, no account, and no remote service. Everything runs inside your own WordPress database.
- No external broken-link checking (internal-link rot detection is database-based).
- No page-builder-specific content extraction yet; Postlinkly reads
post_content.
Built for developers:
Postlinkly uses a clean, modern PHP architecture with PSR-4 autoloading, typed value objects, a pluggable scoring system, and testable service classes. Every hook is prefixed postlinkly_. Settings live in one autoloaded option. The REST API is authenticated.
