Plugin Description
Quotivo Enquiry Checkout for WooCommerce is a third-party plugin (not affiliated with WooCommerce or Automattic) built for stores that don’t take online card payment — B2B wholesalers, manufacturers, and stores settling by Letter of Credit (LC), bank-to-bank transfer, or a manual quotation process.
It hides prices site-wide, keeps the normal Add to Cart experience, and replaces WooCommerce’s Place Order button with a polished “Send Enquiry” flow — on both the classic shortcode checkout and the newer WooCommerce Checkout block. Every submission arrives as a clean, detailed quote request email with the customer’s contact details and the full list of requested products, while the customer sees a clear confirmation and is redirected to a Thank You page.
Why this instead of a product-page “ask a question” button?
Most enquiry plugins add a button on the single product page and email a one-off question. This plugin instead replaces the entire checkout submit action, so it works with WooCommerce’s native cart (quantities, variations, attributes) and requires no separate “enquiry cart” — the customer’s normal cart is the quote request.

- Hides product prices everywhere: single product, archives, cart, checkout, mini-cart, and WooCommerce Blocks (Cart/Checkout blocks render client-side and are covered by a CSS safety net in addition to the standard price filters).
- Works with the classic
[woocommerce_checkout]shortcode checkout AND the WooCommerce Checkout block — no theme/page-builder specific setup needed. - “Request a Quote” modal: Full Name, Phone, and Email required, Message optional, with a built-in country picker (locally bundled flag icons — no third-party requests, no visitor data sent anywhere).
- Admin notifications can be sent to multiple email addresses at once (comma-separated) — useful when sales, warehouse, and support all need to see new enquiries.
- Removes the native billing/shipping address form on checkout for quote-only carts, avoiding duplicate data entry.
- Quote Mode: run the whole store as quote-only (default), or switch to “Selected products only” and pick individual products — everything else keeps its normal price, Add to Cart, and native checkout with real payment. A cart of only normal products is left completely untouched.
- Replaces the “no available payment methods” warning with a friendly message, since a quote-based store intentionally has no payment gateway configured.
- Sends a clear, mobile-friendly HTML email with a reference number, timestamp, one-tap “Call customer” / “Email customer” buttons, and the full product/quantity list.
- Auto-creates a “Thank You” confirmation page on activation, and redirects customers there after a successful enquiry.
- Fully customizable checkout button text and colors, with a live preview and one-click “Reset to default” right in the settings screen.
- Built-in email delivery diagnostics (Send Test Email + last error logging) to help you catch hosting/SMTP problems quickly.
- Sample orders (optional, off by default): let customers pay for a low-cost sample of a product before committing to a bulk quote — a real, paid checkout requiring a working payment gateway, kept separate from the no-payment enquiry flow above. Customize the button’s text and color, cap how many samples a single customer can order, and each purchase automatically generates a single-use coupon crediting the sample cost toward that customer’s next order. Track every request on a dedicated admin screen — complete with each product’s thumbnail — through a Requested Sent Quoted Ordered status pipeline. A ready-made Elementor widget (“Order Sample Button”) is also included for custom-built product pages, and stays in sync with your global sample button text setting.
- Organized settings screen — Quote Settings, Checkout Settings, Button & Appearance, and Sample Orders — with fields that automatically show or hide based on what you’ve enabled.
- Fully translation-ready: every string uses WordPress’s standard translation functions under the plugin’s own text domain.
- Nonce validation, input sanitization/escaping, a basic anti-spam throttle, and declared HPOS + Cart/Checkout Block compatibility.
External services
This plugin does not connect to any external services. Country flag icons are bundled locally inside the plugin (the MIT-licensed “flag-icons” project by Panayiotis Lipiridis — see assets/flags/LICENSE.txt) and are served from your own site; no request is made to any third-party server, and no visitor data is transmitted anywhere except the email(s) sent to the address(es) you configure.
