Refer a Friend for Paid Memberships Pro adds a member-to-member referral workflow to sites using Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro).
Paid Memberships Pro 3.0 or newer must be installed and activated separately. This plugin is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of Paid Memberships Pro.
Features include:
- Permanent random referral links for registered users.
- Last-valid-link attribution for newly created WordPress accounts only.
- A secure email confirmation and POST-based claim step.
- Separately configurable PMPro membership levels and reward days for the friend and referrer.
- Stackable temporary membership access without collecting payment details.
- Renewal postponement for supported active PMPro-managed Stripe subscriptions.
- Referrer-controlled reminders, limited to one per friend every seven days.
- Referral dashboard, component and optional username leaderboard shortcodes.
- An administrator status table, CSV export and diagnostics.
- WordPress personal-data export integration and suggested privacy-policy text.
- No IP-address storage and no external tracking.

Pages containing member-specific shortcodes should be excluded from full-page caching.
Privacy
The plugin stores user IDs, a random referral code, referral and reward status, configured reward details, timestamps, reminder counts and short failure messages. It does not store IP addresses. Site owners should set a retention policy appropriate to their circumstances.
