RMG – Image Optimizer Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
rMG – Image Optimizer helps WordPress sites feel faster by reducing wasted image weight without forcing you to manually resize files, replace uploads, or rebuild pages.
Your original Media Library files stay untouched. rMG prepares lighter image versions for the pages visitors actually load, then serves those optimized files when they are ready. The result is a cleaner image workflow for site owners and faster pages for visitors.
Simple controls let you choose WebP or AVIF, adjust quality, manage lazy loading, add smooth fade-in behavior, and tune sharpness. The optimized media library gives you a single place to review generated images and delete them whenever needed.
Free service provided by ProxSEO, your all-in-one partner for websites, SEO, hosting, and digital growth.
External Services
This plugin connects to the hosted ProxSEO rMG image optimization service when an administrator starts site optimization, requests page optimization, or runs queued background optimization.
The service receives the site URL, local callback REST URL, plugin version, WordPress version, site name, selected published page URLs or page IDs, viewport names, and image/page metadata needed to return optimization results. The service may request the site’s public pages and the plugin’s authenticated local callback endpoint to analyze published content.
The service endpoint defaults to https://api.proxseo.com and can be changed with the RMGIO_ENDPOINT_URL constant, environment variable, or rmgio_default_endpoint_url filter. The local callback key can be configured with the RMGIO_LOCAL_API_KEY constant or environment variable.
