Plugin Description

Selloway adds a product-aware AI sales chat to your WooCommerce product pages. Each product gets a personalized assistant that knows the product name, price, and your key selling points, and can answer visitor questions in real time.

Selloway is a connected service: the plugin sends product and message data to the Selloway backend, which generates AI replies and returns them to the widget.

External services

This plugin relies on the Selloway API (https://api.selloway.com), operated by Selloway, to generate AI chat responses. AI replies cannot be produced locally, so the relevant data must be sent to this service.

What is sent and when:

  • On connect (admin action): your connection key, site URL, admin email, plugin version, WooCommerce version, and WordPress version — used to authenticate and register the store.
  • On product sync (admin action): product name, price, description, URL, and the greetings / key selling points / add-to-cart message you configure — used so the AI can answer about each product.
  • During a chat (when a visitor uses the widget): the visitor’s messages, the current product context, and conversation identifiers — used to generate and return the AI reply.

No data is sent to any other third party. The service is provided by Selloway:
