Plugin Description
ShopSpot adds shoppable hotspots to your post’s featured image. Place a pulsing dot anywhere on the photo, tag it with a product – name, price, image, and a buy link – and visitors tap the dot to see the product and click through, right where their attention already is.
Every product is entered by hand. There are no Amazon API keys to configure, no rate limits to worry about, and no outbound requests of any kind – ShopSpot never phones home to Amazon or anyone else.
Not just for Amazon
Every product has a Vendor: Amazon, another affiliate program, or your own site. The buy button’s label, the link’s rel attributes, and the disclosure text shown beneath the image all follow the vendor automatically – so a hotspot pointing at your own product page behaves correctly too, not only Amazon links.
Built for reuse
Products live as their own reusable entries on a dedicated Products screen. Feature the same headphones in five different posts and you create the product once, then just pick it from a list everywhere else – update the price or the link in one place and every post tagging it stays current.
