External Services
The plugin uses secure Spring onboarding and connectivity services to enable account verification, store synchronization, and integration with the SPRINGGDS eCommerce Dashboard. The following section explains what services are used, why, what data is transmitted, and under which conditions.
Spring / Itembase Connectivity Service
This plugin uses the Spring-managed Itembase connectivity service at https://api.itembase.com as part of the account onboarding and authorization process.
This service is used solely for connecting your WooCommerce store to the SPRINGGDS eCommerce Dashboard through a verified and secure workflow.
What data is sent and when:
– During the connection flow, the plugin submits the store URL, store domain, WordPress version, WooCommerce version, plugin module name/version, business email entered by the store owner, and WooCommerce REST API consumer key/secret generated for the connection.
– The data is sent when the store owner opens the plugin onboarding page and explicitly submits the connection form after accepting the terms.
– The data is required to authorize the WooCommerce store, create the connection, synchronize store data with the SPRINGGDS eCommerce Dashboard, and enable shipping label workflows.
– During uninstall/disconnect cleanup, the plugin may send an access.revoke webhook-style request to the previously registered Itembase delivery URL so that the remote connection can be revoked.
– Order, product, customer, and shipment data may be synchronized after the store owner completes onboarding and grants the integration access through the generated WooCommerce REST API credentials.
