Valter Diana Daily Menus Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
Valter Diana Daily Menus helps restaurants, pizzerias, cafés and similar businesses show a menu for a specific day. Publish today’s menu or prepare upcoming dates in advance, with no third-party services.
Add a menu to any page using the Shortcode block or a shortcode-capable page builder (including Divi 5):
[vddmenus_menu]
The exact shortcode and a Copy shortcode button are available in the WordPress admin menu list and next to the menu editor.
Important: which date is visible?
- The default shortcode displays only today’s published menu, according to your WordPress site time zone.
- A future menu appears on its assigned day, only if already published.
- A past menu remains saved but disappears from the default public view.
- Drafts and unpublished menus are not displayed to visitors.
- If no published menu is assigned to today, a friendly unavailable message appears.
- A private admin preview allows you to inspect drafts and future menus without exposing them publicly.
Features
- One or two fixed menus for a date, with separate dishes and prices.
- First course, main course, side dish, dessert, beverage, notes and menu price.
- Responsive layout for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Food icons with categorized search and reset-to-default option.
- Fifteen customizable colors and a real-time administration preview.
- Duplicate a saved menu to a draft with a chosen date.
- Eight selectable currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD, SEK and PLN. Numeric prices are formatted without exchange-rate conversion or modifying saved amounts.
- Works with standard WordPress themes and page builders that support shortcodes; Divi is optional.
- Ready for community translations through translate.wordpress.org.
- No built-in analytics, cookies, ads or external services.
Shortcode examples
Daily menu for today (recommended):
[vddmenus_menu]
Published menu for a specific date, even if not today:
[vddmenus_menu date="2026-11-02"]
Most recent published menu in the archive (override):
[vddmenus_menu date="latest"]
Note: Date overrides intentionally bypass today’s date restriction, but still require a published menu. Always use a valid date or latest.
