The normal workflow of ecommerce website is :
Customer navigate to category page and then click to product detail page . He will select the options of product and click add to cart button. In some case , merchant want customer can select options and click add to cart button from other page and post, not only limited in product detail page. The module Woocommerce add to cart from page and post allow customers select option of variable product and add to cart from any page and post
