ZWoom – WooCommerce Product Image Zoom Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
ZWoom – WooCommerce Product Image Zoom is a plugin that will help visitors to a WooCommerce store seamlessly zoom in to the single product image.
Generally, when we click on a single product image on the product page, a larger version of that image is popped-out in a fancybox/lightbox. The same happens with thumbnail images associated with that product. This is cumbersome as visitors have to flip between the fancybox and the product page to see product images and know details about the product such as price, features, delivery etc.
We also noticed that some plugins/sites have addressed the issue partially, in the form of creating a secondary image zoom box when you hover over the product image.
The issue with this approach is that sometimes, the zoomed image appearing in the adjacent box, gets laid over the “Add to Cart” functionality, hiding it from the visitor’s view.
At WisdmLabs, we decided to address all these issues which is culminating into this publicly available plugin.
In this plugin, we show the zoomed version of the image in its own image box thus eliminating the overlay issue. For secondary product images in thumbnails, we are providing a slider instead of the multiple rows of images which appear as part of default functionality. If any of these secondary images are clicked, we load the image in primary image box, rather than directly opening the fancybox (which is the default functionality).
Only when an image in the primary image box is clicked, do we load the fancybox pop-up for the visitor to browse all product images.
After the plugin is installed, you will be able to see an additional option in the WooCommerce Catalog Page within WooCommerce settings. The new option will allow you to set ‘Zoom Level’ just below the set width and height options for Single Product Image.
