Azvian Preflight Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
Updating is the most common way a live WordPress site breaks. Azvian
Preflight runs a check before you apply an update — or on any installed
plugin or theme on demand — and answers two questions about that change:
Is it safe?
A static scan of the code for functions, classes and constants that are
deprecated or removed in your current or a target PHP version, or a
deprecated WordPress function. You get a file:line list and a plain
verdict: looks clear / deprecations found / review before updating.
Findings are flagged usage, not proof of breakage — a lot of deprecated
calls are safely guarded by version checks — so the wording stays honest.
What does it cost?
A footprint of the target’s registered CSS/JS: which handles it owns and
what those files weigh, so you have a baseline to compare against after you
update.
Everything runs locally. No account, no external calls, no data leaves your
site.
WP-CLI

Preflight Pro
A separate add-on (from azvian.com, subscription) adds automatic pre-flight
on every update and auto-update, a continuously maintained compatibility
dataset (including per-plugin breaking changes), WordPress-major and
PHP-major readiness, custom-code scanning, real before/after impact diffs
with history, and safe-update with automatic rollback. The free plugin
works fully on its own.
