Call Bullet By AutoThink Wordpress Plugin - Rating, Reviews, Demo & Download
Plugin Description
Call Bullet is a call tracking and call attribution service for agencies and businesses. This plugin connects a WordPress site to a Call Bullet account and:
- Replaces your configured business phone number (visible text and tel: links, in common UK formats, including content that loads later) with a Call Bullet tracking number from your website pool.
- Leaves every other number and contact detail on the page untouched.
- Shows calls, answered and missed calls, call sources, attribution evidence and tracking health in native WordPress screens.
How it works
- A visitor arrives on your site and sees a tracking number in place of your business number.
- The visitor calls that number.
- Call Bullet forwards the call to your real business number.
- The call, and the source that led to it (for example Google Ads, organic search or social), appears in Call Bullet and in this plugin.
Agencies can connect a client’s website by signing in. The website is linked to one client only and can read that client’s call data only.
A Call Bullet account is required. Without an install key or sign-in, the plugin does nothing on the front end.
Screens
- Overview: calls, answer rate and top sources for the chosen date range.
- Calls: the call log with source, outcome, length and a link to the full call in Call Bullet.
- Attribution: which sources and landing pages led to calls.
- Numbers: each tracking number with impressions, calls and status.
- Tracking health: a checklist showing whether swapping is working on this site.
- Settings: connection, install key and the Number swapping switch.
External Services
This plugin connects to the CallBullet service (https://callbullet.com), operated by CallBullet. Nothing is sent until an administrator saves an install key or clicks “Sign in with CallBullet”.
- Number swapping (visitor browser to callbullet.com/api/public/dni/session), on each page view once an install key is saved and swapping is switched on. Sent: install key, a random visitor session token, referrer, landing page URL, current page URL, UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content), Google click IDs (gclid, gbraid, wbraid), the Google Analytics browser and session IDs read from the site’s own _ga cookies (only with consent, only if Google Analytics is installed), and the visitor’s consent flag. When a site sets window.CallBulletConsent = false, only the install key and page are used. Used to choose which tracking number to show and to link a later call to the visit.
- Connecting (your server to callbullet.com/api/public/plugin/exchange), once when you sign in. Sent: a one-time code, this site’s home URL and the plugin version.
- Reports (your server to callbullet.com/api/public/plugin/data), when an administrator opens a CallBullet screen, cached for five minutes. Sent: the site token, the chosen report and date range, and the plugin version.
- Update checks for copies downloaded directly from callbullet.com only (not the WordPress.org version), after connecting: a request to callbullet.com/api/public/plugin/update-check with no personal data.
