Plugin Description
uMOVA Smooth Lessons removes unnecessary full-page reloads from lesson-to-lesson navigation in LearnPress. Learners can move between lessons without repeated page flashes and waiting while LearnPress remains responsible for course state and logic.
This WordPress.org plugin is a complete Free edition. It provides smooth lesson-to-lesson navigation and smooth lesson completion, and contains no locked Pro runtime or premium code.
A separate paid uMOVA Smooth Lessons Pro plugin extends smooth navigation to supported quiz transitions and quiz start/retake. Pro is distributed separately from this WordPress.org plugin.

Native LearnPress Behavior
uMOVA Smooth Lessons changes how supported LearnPress navigation is delivered in the browser, not what LearnPress actions mean.
The Free plugin does not automate lesson completion, bypass confirmation prompts, alter quiz rules, change grading, or replace LearnPress progress logic. LearnPress remains responsible for the learning state.
When a smooth transition cannot be completed safely, uMOVA Smooth Lessons falls back to standard LearnPress or browser navigation.
Browser History Safety
uMOVA Smooth Lessons keeps a limited in-memory history cache to support smooth Back and Forward navigation.
The cache is limited to 20 entries. Cached entries older than one hour are not restored. If a user returns to an expired or unsafe history entry, the page is loaded normally.
Privacy and Data Protection
The learning runtime does not add student analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry. The optional Freemius integration is described under External Services below.
uMOVA Smooth Lessons does not persist its own navigation history in cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or the WordPress database. For browser Back and Forward navigation, it temporarily caches up to 20 page states in volatile browser memory. Those page states are not persisted by uMOVA Smooth Lessons.
Lesson transitions use same-origin requests to the WordPress installation. The browser may include the site’s existing cookies and authentication credentials with these requests.
The Free plugin does not register its own custom WordPress REST or AJAX endpoints.
LearnPress, the active WordPress theme, course content, and other installed plugins or third-party services may process data independently and are governed by their own privacy practices.
Compatibility
uMOVA Smooth Lessons is currently built for LearnPress and has been verified in a real LearnPress + Eduma environment.
Themes, LearnPress add-ons, custom templates, caching layers, security tools, and future LearnPress changes can alter front-end behavior. When uMOVA Smooth Lessons cannot safely handle a supported action, it falls back to standard LearnPress or browser navigation.
External Services: Freemius
This plugin includes the Freemius SDK for optional account connection, upgrade offers, checkout, and license management for the separately distributed Pro plugin. Free lesson navigation and lesson completion do not require a Freemius account, license, payment, or trial.
When an administrator opts in to connect the plugin, the SDK communicates with Freemius at https://api.freemius.com/. Depending on the permissions granted and the service used, transmitted data may include the administrator’s name and email address, site URL, WordPress and PHP versions, plugin version and activation status, and account or license identifiers. Optional environment information, including installed plugins and themes, is shared according to the permissions shown in the connection form. Connected installations may periodically synchronize permitted account, site, and license information.
Administrators can skip the optional connection and continue using all Free features. Choosing to purchase or start a Pro trial opens Freemius checkout, where contact, billing, and payment information is processed to fulfill the transaction. Submitting optional deactivation feedback sends the chosen reason and any details entered to Freemius. Ordinary network requests also expose the requesting IP address to the receiving service. The lesson navigation runtime does not send lesson content, quiz answers, or student progress to Freemius.
