Plugin Description
First We Plan is a mortgage and household affordability planner built by Bookrightly. It calculates
deposit, monthly payments, total interest, and loan-to-value, then walks through a full essential vs
optional expense breakdown so visitors get a realistic picture of affordability — not just a mortgage
quote. Includes a downloadable PDF summary. All calculations run in the visitor’s browser.
Add [fwpmp_planner] to any page or post to embed the planner.
Source Code
This plugin’s assets/ files are a built (minified) React application. The complete, human-readable
source — including package.json and the exact build steps — is bundled in this plugin under /source.
To rebuild the assets from source:
cd source && npm install && npm run build
This produces source/dist/assets/*, which is what ships in this plugin’s own /assets folder.
External services
This plugin loads the “Fraunces” display font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com /
fonts.gstatic.com) when the shortcode is rendered. This is a standard font-CDN request (visitor IP
address and user agent are sent, as with any font request). Google’s terms of service:
https://policies.google.com/terms — privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. No other
external service is called: all mortgage/expense calculations and the PDF export run entirely in the
visitor’s browser, and nothing is sent to this plugin’s author or any third party.
