Plugin Description

SC IndexFlow automatically notifies Google as soon as you publish or update a post or page on your WordPress site, using your own Google Cloud service account. This helps your content get crawled sooner instead of waiting for Google to discover it naturally.

Features:

  • Automatically submits every new post/page to Google’s Indexing API on publish
  • Manual “Resubmit” option if a submission ever fails (for example, if your service account credentials need to be corrected)
  • Simple setup using your own free Google Cloud service account — no account with us required
  • Full submission log with timestamps

Please note: submitting a URL to Google does not guarantee it will be indexed. Whether a page is indexed always depends on Google’s own crawling and content-quality decisions. This plugin’s job is simply to notify Google as quickly as possible; it cannot control or promise indexing outcomes.

External services

This plugin connects to Google’s own APIs in order to notify Google about new or updated content on your site. No data is sent anywhere unless you have configured your own Google Cloud service account in the plugin settings.

Google Indexing API — used to tell Google that a specific post/page URL on your own site has been published or updated, so Google can consider crawling it sooner. When you publish or update a post/page (or click “Resubmit”), this plugin sends that page’s public URL to https://indexing.googleapis.com/v3/urlNotifications:publish. No other content or personal data is sent.

Google OAuth Token Endpoint — used to authenticate the above request using the Google Cloud service account you provide. Each time this plugin needs to talk to Google, it exchanges a signed authentication token at https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token using the credentials you entered in the plugin settings. No site content is sent to this endpoint, only standard OAuth authentication fields.
