Plugin Description

This plugin connects to the FastOG third-party SaaS service (https://fastog.com) to generate and serve dynamic Open Graph cover images. The Studio editor that configures them is bundled with the plugin and runs inside your WordPress admin; it talks to the FastOG API in your browser.

  • FastOG Service Terms: https://fastog.com/terms
  • FastOG Privacy Policy: https://fastog.com/privacy
  • Service Pricing & Plans: Includes a 15-day free trial. Subscription plans and pricing details are available at https://fastog.com

Every time a link to your site is shared on social media, Slack, or Telegram, it gets a
card designed for that specific page instead of a generic logo tile:

  • Product pages — photo, name, price, your brand.
  • Product categories — the category image and title.
  • Shop page / front page — your brand and tagline.
  • Blog posts — title, excerpt and featured image.

Covers are rendered and cached by FastOG, so your site hosts no generated images.
Configure everything from FastOG Studio in your admin menu.

Which pages get a cover

The four page types above. Every other URL — pages, tags, date and author archives,
custom post types — is left exactly as it was, so your theme or SEO plugin keeps
control of it.

Source code

The Studio editor that runs inside your admin is a Svelte application, built with Vite and
bundled at assets/dist/studio.js + assets/dist/studio.css. That bundle is shipped
unminified and unobfuscated, so it reads as it was written.

The source it was built from is kept in the FastOG repository (and the FastOG GitHub release
of this plugin), in src/ plus the resources/js/Pages/WooCommerce Svelte sources — src/README.md
describes that folder: what it holds, how each part of it reaches the bundle’s entry point, and
how to rebuild assets/dist from it. Nothing in there is a stub, and nothing was removed.

Rebuilding the bundle from src/

Install the toolchain with npm install — Vite 8, @sveltejs/vite-plugin-svelte 7,
@tailwindcss/vite 4 and Tailwind CSS 4 — then build with:

npx vite build --config vite.wp.config.js

The settings that matter are a single IIFE entry, minify: false, cssCodeSplit: false,
assetsInlineLimit: 0, base: "./" and the @ alias. Nothing is externalized, and no
dependency is fetched at runtime.

Third-party libraries

These are compiled into the bundle alongside the sources above. They are used unmodified, and
not patched or superseded:

  • Svelte 5.56.8 — MIT — https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte
  • highlight.js 11.12.0 — BSD-3-Clause — https://github.com/highlightjs/highlight.js
  • Tailwind CSS 4.3.3 — MIT — https://github.com/tailwindlabs/tailwindcss (its banner is the
    first line of assets/dist/studio.css)

The plugin loads no remote code: the bundled script and stylesheet are served from your own
site, and the only external requests are the FastOG API calls the editor makes when you open
FastOG Studio.
